This is like that Three Stooges short where an Army sergeant needs a volunteer for a dangerous mission. Moe and Larry each take a step backward so the sergeant sees Curly in front and thinks Curly volunteered. Okay, so I volunteered for week #409. What do I have to do? Remember, I'm new here -- and don't tell me I'm asking this question in the wrong thread. I'm not falling for that trick again!

Another thing, I love the Three Stooges and I think we have never done a Three Stooges ATW theme. Yea technically there were only 6 stooges. But we can pick the same person or go with a picture of them all. Now I want to do a Three Stooges theme.

Mister Wolf, you and I already know what the theme for week #409 will be -- but if DRC is like some of the other sites I post to, long before April 21 gets here everyone will have long forgotten what I wrote today. Do you think I should offer a choice of hot rods? Maybe let voters decide between the 1951 Belly-Tank Lakester, the 1954 Chrisman Bonneville coupe, the 1934 "California Kid" Ford coupe and the Norm Grabowski "Kookie Kar" that was fdeatured on tt Sunset Strip?

I'm usually pretty good of remembering themes far advanced in weeks. Because I write them down on a spreadsheet or in this thread.

I use to run a website and post everything on the site. But now I post everything here.

If you don't feel comfortable hosting yet. I can host and declare that week as that theme. If you ever want to host and create a poll. The poll options can be whatever you want as long that theme has enough stuff we can choose from.

Like for an example if you choose SNL as a theme. There are tons of characters to choose from.

I have no problem with either one. You can choose Sean Hayes as Larry.

There have been many Stooges -- and I'm not talking about Iggy Pop's band. In addition to the 2012 Three Stooges movie, there was a 20oo tv-movie about the Stooges with Michael Chiklis playing Curly. And after the original Stooges (Moe, Larry, Shemp) left Ted Healy, Healy assembled a new group of Stooges: Eddie Moran, Mousie Garner and Jack Wolf. Hey, I wonder if Jack Wolf is related to.......no, never mind. Healy's act was originally billed as "Ted Healy & His Racketeers" and later became "Ted Healy & His Stooges."

After Larry died in January 1975, Moe asked Emil Sitka to join him and Joe DeRita in the act. Sitka had worked with all six "Three Stooges," appearing in 35 shorts and four feature films. He was to play Larry's brother Harry -- but then Moe was diagnosed with lung cancer and would soon die, in May 1975.

Who among us could ever forget the beautiful, heartfelt, endearing sentiment once expressed so eloquently by Moe Howard: "You pumpkinhead! I'll tear your tonsils out! I'll mash ya like a potato!"

I never knew about the 2000 tv movie. I recall some history of the original 6 stooges and the film that came out a few years ago.

In my post that Mister Wolf responded to, yes, I know there is no such word as "fdeatured" and I know there was never a tv show called tt Sunset Strip. I have no idea how I made that typo. Can I blame the Three Stooges discussion for temporarily turning me into a nitwit?
