This is turning out to be a pretty good channel. The play some 80s songs that 80s on 8 does not, and overall the have a large playlist and a good mix of music. I can forget the fact that they play a few commercials.

I listened for an hour this morning to review the breaks.

I started to listen at 3:48am.

Music until:

4:25am: A 1 minute soap opera update.
4:26am: A 1 minute advertisement.

Music until:

4:48am: A 1 minute message giving the warnings of smoking

4:49am: It went back to the very good mix of music.

Some people make much ado about nothing concerning the very few commercials on the Clear Channel music channels- you get only a tiny fraction of what you get on testicular radio!

I find that all of the Clear Channel programmed stations sound really good. I like Nashville and Rock@Random too. I would not mind a 1 minute stop set here and there on the music channels if they cut the subscription fees.

I have listened to this channel for a few hours the last 3 days and have not heard a song repeated that I can recall. :fallinlove:

This is my replacement channel for The Bridge.

They won't be cutting sub fees anytime soon, so we don't have to worry about that.

I guess Clear Channel has changed the format of PINK XM24. It is more current Pop music. :(

I believe they have also changed the name of the channel. It is now called All Hits Radio or something like that. Just what we need- another current hits channel. The Pink Channel was a good channel, but now it appears to be gone.

So, now they have KISS and what was Pink? That's strange.

According to the XM website, the channel is still officially called Pink. But Pink now plays "all hit music". The format has been altered. A dumb decision on Clear Channel's part if you ask me.

I very much agree. Pink was my GO TO channel when The Bridge entrance was closed.
