I don't listen to Bubba. I listen to Stern and Chris Russo when it comes to satellite radio.

Stern. I've listened to Bubba a few times and thought the show was alright, but I never got into it.

As for other personalities on the radio, I listen to Chris Russo now and then. I can't stand listening to Opie & Anthony (whenever I try listening to them, they just put me to sleep. No offense to any of you fans out there). So yeah, Stern is pretty much the only one I listen to.

Started with stern. Got into Bubba lately though, looking forward to two more years.

A daily listener of stern though, so between the two, I'd say Stern is still #1 for me. But Bubba is def a close close 2.

Stern still top of the heap for me, with Bubba a close second. Listened to him for about 6 months while I was Stern-less and living in Tampa, so it was nice to see that Howard brought him in for 101. Once Stern is gone, Bubba will be my guy as long as I still have access to his show.

I listen to both pretty much daily. I'm still a bit a Stern fan more though, I also get to catch all of his show at work whereas Bubba I get the 1st 1.5 hrs then I leave work. Sometimes I get to listen to the rest when I get home.

I signed up for Stern. Tried Bubba, but I just don't get the redneck humor and inside jokes. I'll listen to Chris Russo occasionally as well, liked him on WFAN when my car's am radio could grab the signal from 90 miles away.

I listen to a lot of the music channels also.

Hey Now

Came for Howard in July of 2005 and was there for his first broadcast on SIRI. I have to admit they I have been a bit disappointed over all, but remain a regular Stern listener.

I have tried Bubba, but he isn't my cup of tea and never would have spent the money on a SIRI sub if Bubba was the maindraw.

If Bubba was debuting his first show on 1/9/06 I would still be listening to terrestrial radio.

I enjoy Bubba's show but Howard is still on top for me. Bubba gets a bit too much into the things that I don't care for on the Stern Show: Strippers, porn chicks, dumb stunts, etc... And sometimes I zone out when they play really long bits or get too much into hillbilly shit like NASCAR or whatever. Don't get me wrong though, I really like Bubba and overall I think that he puts on a great show. Same goes for Ferrall, although I don't listen to him very much because of his timeslot.

After I heard Bubba got resigned, I listened to part of his show. He was playing some game and enplaning the rules but I got so bored with the instructions which took a half hour, I just changed the channel.

So yeah...still Stern for me! Of course he falters and sometimes he can have a lousy week or so, but in the clutch, he is there. I'm used to it and that is a big part of why I subscribed to Sirius. The show "evolves" and sometimes it's ugly but sometimes Howard can just come out with some great ad libbing and pull out some Gina Man clips, or discuss radio dayz and of course there is always Ted Kennedy for the news...It's all...well, it's mostly good.

I enjoy Stern more than Bubba. Im more of a morning radio listener, so I don't catch Bubba that much.

I enjoy Howard, but lately all the bits are more and more Richard and Sal. I'm a long 20+ year listener of stern and really appreciate the History of howard Stern. You really can see how much funnier he was in the past and now depends so much on others to make the show funnier now.

It seems to me that he is working very hard to sell his Howard on Demand TV with TV bits and less and less radio funny bits.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a daily listener, I also hope he re-signs in two years to do another show. Perhaps he will be more like Cousin Brucie where he does a twice a week show. At this time hopefullly it will be more Howard, less Richard and Sal.

There's no doubt in my mind that in two years Howard will not re-sign some sort of contract. He won't be here for 4 days a week, every week, but he sounded like he'd be pretty interested in a few days a week afternoon show. Sirius would be dumb to decline an offer like that, and maybe they'd trim the fat on some of the shows staff and make it more cost efficient. Maybe an ISDN show? Although seeing that studio go to waste would be sad.

It's interesting that now that Bubba re-signed all the Bubba fans have disappeared for this thread :)

It's funny how people complain about channel leaving etc. when the reality is they may rarely or only occasionally listened to that channel.

The ones that complain the hardest probably listen to what they are complaining about the least lol

I like hip hop for example but I can truly say that I rarely listened to backspin though I do feel that Sirius XM should have a old school hip hop channel. Even if Backspin performs poorly ratings it should still exist lol

I listened to Bubba until he started doing Friday mornings. Driving to work on that first Friday morning his voice was annoying as hell, and I haven't listened since.

Besides his voice other things started to bother me, the 15 minute intro, too many commercials, Brent's laugh, merchandise, Bubba's kid etc.

I listen to both daily. I look forward to Bubba's show more because of the unexpected. Howard does a consistently good show, but there have been many more laugh out loud moments on Bubba. I could do without the dirt racing talk, but I don't care for chess or Dancing with the Stars either.

yes there are times when i zone out on Bubba when he is talking nascar, but i started doing it more and more on Stern(Dancing with the stars,American Idol,Chess and the gossip game talk). To me Bubba's show is more manly,I guess i just got tired of the page six talk and moved on to being a Bubba mark.:buttrock:

I'll usually try to listen to Bubba's morning show live for a while and then catch Howard on my morning commute. Not having a podcast or anything, it's kind of a pain to catch the morning show sometimes.
