I think Tristan may be trying to sell us some free certificates. DRC has TLS with a certificate.
I don't think so. Tristan has been a member since 2008, and pops in every now and then.

Regarding the original question about certificates, I don't expect that we'll be doing that.
We're due for an upgrade to our XenForo at some point, but we'll most likely keep things pretty simple.

I noticed that ”not secure” on my browser and the upgrades could help out the issue of logging out after I log in.

I'm using Chrome and the connection is secure. TLS 1.3.
I use Chrome at work, Safari at home and I see the connections are secure. I don't understand why I always get logged out after I log in and don't have any more issues after that.

It shouldn't have to deal with cookies, I do clear them out every now and then.

When I use the HTTPS URL, the connection is secure. I'm confused because you said yours was "not secure":
I had no idea this site had an https option. I was using http. Not sure why we need the https. We are not exchanging credit card info.

Every so often I get the "not secure" on my screen and right now I'm not seeing it. I believe I see it more at work.
