Is it just me or has the jump button stopped working,
Since the channels merged on 5/9/11?
It disappeared from the Lynx a little while ago during an update. No clue why. :clueless:
Noticed the vehicle kit has that neat option. If it was designed to let you skip to a programmed channel I don't see why the company or RIAA would have objected to the feature after the merger. I looked around and din't find a confirmation the jump feature was somehow deactivated.
I don't think it was deactivated.
My guess is when they merged the channels on 5/9/11
it messed up the mapping to the traffic channel.
In would need a firmware update to correct the problem.
IF other SL2 users have the same problem I may be right.
But if Jump to Traffic is working for others it may just be my radio.
Curious if your city/area has (or had) a repeater? Do you have the same problem when you program the jump button to access another traffic or music channel?
Maybe the small map and city listing in the link will help with the satrad coverage for your area.
SiriusXM Traffic Market Coverage - SiriusXM Radio
SIRIUS Schedules - SIRIUS Information - SIRIUS News - - DogstarRadio.com has repeater coverage info as well.
I think they keep it up to date.
My jump button still works- you have to go to Settings > My content > scroll down to Traffic & Weather jump > turn off
I swear that it went away after the first update. A couple of us couldn't find it again.
Found it. Thanks for the info! (As always.)
Mine does not work. I tried Detroit and Pittsburgh traffic.
I just wanted "last channel" back. I'm happy.
That worked for me. No traffic jump though.
Yes Ive tried other cities same result.
Programming anything other then the city is not an option on the SL2.
I live near Boston so that is the only traffic channel i need.
i can punch in 132 and I have traffic.
But 132 has 3 cities the jump button used to change the channel when Boston came on.
