No word on how long the channel runs for. They were doing "SXM Music News/SXM Remembers" bits on Rewind today followed by a Rush song. Not sure how often. Local FM on Friday had a Rush song an hour to honour him. The music choice was limited by 1/2 of the day being all 80s which cuts out most of their early stuff.

It looks like today is the last day for the special channel.
I‘ve been listening for the last couple of days, and it’s been pretty good. I didn’t think I’d tune in for more than a couple of hours here and there, but it’s rarely been off.
pretty good stuff.
the only thing I’ve noticed is that I don’t think they have been playing any of his drum solos. You’d think that would be something that they would do.

I've tuned in for about 3 commutes. Good stuff. I hadn't heard the song Bastille Day before.

I'm still a little surprised I kept it on all day again.
First time I heard Dreamline was on the drive home tonight. Still no drum solos.

The 2020 Hall Of Fame preview will run from 6 AM Eastern time January 18 through 3 AM Eastern time January 20 on Channel 25, Classic Rewind.

They advertised 27 Deep Tracks. I would hate to lose a good channel like classic rewind for that shit show channel and it’s endless whiney houston caterwalls.

This morning the 2112 overture/temple of Syrin took up most of my commute. Not something you'd normally hear on radio. No drum solo, but some awesome drumming nonetheless.

In my early teen years, the Rush 2112 T-shirt was the shiz. Mysterious, musically advanced, deep in thought, heavy on drugs.

A lot of repeats when you listen for a few days in a row.
When I got out of my car this morning, they were playing A Passage to Bangkok live. When I got into my car tonight, they were playing A Passage to Bangkok live. It's kind of like cable news - 22 minutes at a time is enough.

That’s crazy.
I don’t think they gave Bowie that kind of air time.

PS
Day 5 and I still haven’t heard a drum solo.

The Rush channel will remain on Channel 27 through Thursday, January 23, then move to online Channel 717 and run through February 10. SiriusXM is obviously in no rush to get rid of the channel. Hey-yo!
