Over the past few years, I've been more and more dissatisfied at the lack of news choices on Sirius channels. While some are beyond Sirius' control, I do think they need to take responsibility to bring morning news to the lineups.

Over the years we've lost, at a minimum, Wall Street Journal This Morning, ABC Morning News network, NPR's Bryant Park Project. And countless others.

While they might argue that having CNN and Fox on the dial is a substitute, audio services from television is not as satisfying as true radio news. The media format is different, and needs to be addressed properly.

It is sad that delivering morning news programming is not a priority at Sirius. There are channels and content out there -- would be nice if they would broadcast it!

Does Robin do the morning news on HOWARD100 since going to satellite?

Heck, just have the Howard 100 news team read the news. I'm sure they have plenty of time.

Check out BBC. I prefer their world news anyway.

I do miss ABC News & Talk, but that was Citadel's decision to pull it, not Sirius/XM.

I am suprised at this as well. You would think that we would have more choices not less.

We need a "Hits" morning show that plays music and does news.

We need a "Talk/News" morning show that keeps us up to date with what is going on in the world of news.

No way. Then it would be exactly like FM. Hits one is closest to your pop station. This isnt WPLJ or 1010 WINS
News is for AM,in my opinion.
We do have news channels, you just have to find them in the upper channels and
Robin does news on howard 100.
