Just got word from Eddie Trunk that Myles Kennedy is heading to Cleveland tomorrow. No official word, but my guess is that he will be singing GNR songs during the induction like he does for Slash's current band.

Moody Blues should've been in 20 years agoThe Cars, Dire Straits, & Judas Priest should have been in ten years ago
And it should have been on a Tuesday, in the afternoon.Moody Blues should've been in 20 years ago
My ire is always shaken, not stirred. I've heard of Nina Simone, but I know nothing about her. Having just looked her up, she was a 1960s blues and R&B artist and activist. So she's not on my radar. At the risk of stirring up scotch's ire, who is Nina Simone?
The other choices I agree with. This one I don't know her so can't really offer an opinion one way or the other (at this point).
EternallyStill dead to you?
She's got an amazing voice. At the risk of stirring up scotch's ire, who is Nina Simone?

I'm a little disappointed......My ire is always shaken, not stirred. I've heard of Nina Simone, but I know nothing about her. Having just looked her up, she was a 1960s blues and R&B artist and activist. So she's not on my radar.
As I believe I've discussed before, my introduction to music was via my older brother. It was instrumental-heavy rock and fusion. Chicago, BS&T, ELP, Mahavishnu Orchestra, early Zeppelin, Yes. We weren't listening to Motown, Frankie Valli, the Stones. I'm not a music historian, but I have a friend who's more of one.I'm a little disappointed......
