Anyone ever try this?

Absolutely! I have the Pulsar/Audio Hijack Pro/Fission combo. There's nothing like it.

Their tech support has been good, too. They fixed a couple of minor bugs I found in obscure situations within days of my reports.

It's totally worth getting the combo, if you intend to do some time shifted listening. Fission is ideal for quickly removing commercials on talk channels.

That got out totally wrong. I should have first insisted on:

The software is really great. Easy to use, very intuitive and fluid user interface. Scheduling recordings and hijacking any kind of audio with AHP is a breeze, and editing with Fission couldn't be much easier (and precise). AHP can capture recordings in a variety of formats (mp3, aiff, etc.). I can't think of a functionality I would need that the Pulsar/AHP/Fission doesn't already have.
