Definitely sad news. At least he will no longer suffer with cancer. RIP

It was bound to happen, but sad nonetheless.

He fought it like he was still in Road House. That's a tough SOB that can fight it off for 3 years. A piece of pop culture has passed.

This year will go down in history as a very bad year to be a celebrity.

Someone sent me Patrick Swayze's last work: a TV series called "The Beast". Only 1 season was made (due to him falling to cancer).

There are 13 episodes, and it's presented in HD (720p).

I haven't watched it yet, but if anyone else is interested in a copy, send me a PM.

Here's a brief overview of the show:

An FBI agent with uncouth yet effective tactics is played by Patrick Swayze on A&E's The Beast. Charles Barker (Swayze) trains new partner Ellis Dove (Travis Fimmel). Baker imparts his hard-driving and slick methods even while an internal affairs squad is investigating him.

RIP Swayze:cry:

You are mostly why Point Break was one of the awesomest films of all time, in my opinion.
