You should check this one out. The movie Platoon made this popular some years ago, but what a piece of music, regardless of what it gets used in from time to time...it gets me every time.

The original Canon isn't much to get excited about. It was simple and fast. Throughout the 20th century folks have been re-arranging it, slowing it down and getting jiggy with it.

This is played at every wedding but I had no idea who created it.

I've only ever heard of it refered to as "canon in D."

I'll be honest, I know nothing about classical music.

Classical Music and Art are my two weak subjects.
