That is all good info and thanks for looking it up but I just don't like soccer. Glad you dig it though, and it seems like you are getting in on the ground floor with meeting celeb part owners and all. I bet you can get great seats for very cheap too. That's pretty cool.
I have zero interest in seeing the Spice Girls kick a ball around.
I understand and I'm not trying to push anyone into the sport. I was the same way a few years ago, I never gave soccer a try and thought it was boring. But the other sports leagues are somewhat pushing the fans away from there sports.
Baseball is too long and never know which came can be exciting.
Basketball is great and fun to watch. But after a while, some players just want to control the ball and be the main show. Plus I'm getting tired of all these foul calls when there is like 5 minutes left in the game which turns into an hour.
Hockey I have been away from it for a while. But little by little I'm starting to get back into the sport plus the Coyotes are starting to connect with there fanbase again.
Football yea it's the biggest sport in the U.S and it was my favorite. But now it doesn't feel like a sport anymore it simply turns into a business game. Some players don't care and just show up for the money, like how it is in basketball. They disrespect the national anthem, politics is now getting involved and the game doesn't move along, unlike the folded AAF league. The game was fun, fast pace and could probably change the way the NFL looked at things. The league simply doesn't care all they care about is the money they make from the sponsors. Also players are getting hurt to easily and the league isn't doing much about it. With all that crap it's driving me away from the sport.
I was about to give up on sports and simply tried out some new ones. I decided to give soccer a chance and it's a whole new world. I love the fast pace physical action and the game clock doesn't stop which the other sports leagues really need to look into. The sport is technically all year round, when the season ends in about two months the next season begins. So it's literally the #1 sport in the world, but not in the U.S. and hopefully in a few years. It can become even more popular and probably pass up MLB, NBA and NHL one day. I doubt it will ever be as big as the NFL, but the NFL is already destroying themselves.
I know everybody sees things differently and I'm not looking get into an argument. But I try and expose things to people which they simply don't care and want to listen.
I met some of the owners and a couple of celebrities does hang out in our supporter group. But it doesn't get me anywhere and I'm not looking to move up. They appreciate the fanbase they have and want to be successful and hopefully get bigger soon. The seats I have are reasonable, but the team plays in a tier 2 league. If they were ever to play in MLS, then the prices will be even higher.
