0600h-0615h - Howard: "I am so exhausted, ugh, I hate being here. Eric from Hoboken, you're on the air."

0630h-0700h - Howard: "Beth & I went to a North Shore Animal League function... Springsteen/Seinfeld was there... some lady asked to see our tickets, can you believe that? Anyway, the construction continues at our apartment... ugh.... we're in one little corner of our 6000+ sq. ft., I can't live like this."

0700h-0800h - Howard: "Joan Rivers/Porn Star/A Listener Who Does Something Wacky will be here/call in. Wait till you see it on Howard TV, it's going to be amazing."

0800h-0900h - Howard: "Tiger Woods... I don't really care about golf, and I don't know that he's cheating, so I'm not saying anything."

0900h-0930h - Howard: "Can you believe that caller? I do a 5-hour show every day!!! Anyway, I gotta get out of here, anything else, Robin?"

;)

From what I've heard, and I've only been listening since about 7.30 but today's show is great.

I love this Ian Halperin guy and I hope everything he's saying is true. After hearing his first interview, my wife went and bought the Michael Jackson book that he wrote--the power of the Stern Interview.

this tiger woods story is getting better and better the more we learn.

I agree.

What is so funny just what howard and crew said today.

She probably beat the living shit out of him and he runs out of the house and gets in his car. She grabs a golf club, beats the shit out of the car and him to where he goes unconcious and, at 7mph runs into a tree and fire hydrant.

Hilarious.

Tiger clearly needs to just hold a press conference, admit to whatever and then just walk away. Take a lesson from the steriod press oncferences in baseball. Those that deny and lie are killed in the press and by fans, those that admit and say "yes I did steriods before they were illegal in baseball and I really aplogize to the fans and the team. I thought they would help and I realilze what a horrible decision that was." The people that do this are LEFT ALONE and even adored by the media.

When there is no mystery, there is no story.

man, tiger just knocked out two kids back to back with her. it'd be in his best interest to keep the wife unless he really wants to be taken to the cleaners. I wonder if he got a pre-nup.

That's pretty observant RDog. I thought it was a recap until I saw the time stamp.

Must be nice to bored by being rich. :rofl2:

I heard bits and pieces this morning and am listening to the show in full now, and it is a good show so far (though, all the complaining about how many listeners Howard "brought with him" could not have been more annoying - he continues to pretend like his listeners are morons that way). I'm glad! With that first post, I just wanted to parody what could easily have been reality. :)

Really a great show... Howard and Artie were really on ..so was Robin...When Robin started doing the news and Howard and Robin and Artie were riffing on everything...they were in a groove.... This is what I love the most about the show.... seems it's effortless for them ... why waste time on shit like Medicated Pete, tedious Sal and Richard bits, JD being inarticulate etc...

Today was a great show, too, from what I've heard!

The shows seem so vastly different from the clunkers that way - is it really because of laziness or is it something else? Howard seems really "on."

I think its like anyone in any type of job. Some days are great some are bad and you just don't know why and can't get into it and some are just OK. It's got to be hard to entertain people everyday. I bet when any of the main 4 or 5 are having a bad day the show suffers in some way.
