Which one of today's bands that are still active would be the equivalent of a band from the Classic Rock era?

What would be the equivalent of:
Beatles
Rolling Stones
The Who
Pink Floyd

Just off the top of my head. This oughta be a fun thread. :eek::smug:

Beatles = U2
Rolling Stones = Kings of Leon
Who - Green Day (Is American Idiot their Quadrophenia?)
Pink Floyd = Porcupine Tree (Pink Floyd + Tool?)

Rush = Dream Theater (still leading off CDs with a 20-minute suite)
Queen = Muse (each CD seems to get closer to "A night at the Opera")
Black Sabbath = Wolfmother

I almost forgot Porcupine Tree. Dream Theater makes sense. I have yet to hear Muse or Wolfmother. Maybe next go-round on iTunes.
