Because this week the show is on vacation I lent my Stiletto 2 to my friend who used to listen to the show Pre-Sirius. It has a weeks worth of Stern shows on it. He is completely happy now that he got his Stern fix and makes me realize just how awesome the show is.

Has anyone else considered lending their Sirius Radio to a friend on the off weeks?

I always take it with. It's like a security blanket for me.
That, and I listen to saved content while waiting at the airport.

I feel the same way. I can't be without my SL2. Plus if I loan it to someone I won't be able to listen to Bubba or Ellis.

My friends are idiots. If I let one of them borrow my Stiletto, I wouldn't get it back in one piece.

Tru dat, besides if they love the show that much let them shell out a few bucks for the unit and 12.95 a month for the service.

If you wait for the right promotion they will practically give you the unit.

Not really a lot of money for the service, in NY 12.95 will buy you 1 1/2 packs of cigarettes or about 2 drinks at your favorite watering hole.

Luckily I have my XMP3 still, but I'm just focusing on getting more work done. But this guy isn't too cheap to pay the $12.95 he is just one of those people who doesn't know how to get it done or won't commit to just sinking his teeth into it. I think that will change in a few days :)

Or in a big city $12.95 hardly pays for one hour at a downtown parking garage.

I'd go through withdrawal without my Sirius. I've occasionally let others use my online credentials to listen to streaming, but you're not going to get my radio. ;)

I wish I had a few extra radios to lend out, but I only have my one SL10 activated now, so I can't go without it. I had an older Xact radio that was deactivated and still worked, and I lent it to people who drove a lot, and it got a few people hooked.

i never leave home without my sl2. its part of my out-the-door checklist: keys, phone, sirius, wallet.

so long as i have these im good to go. even on the off weeks of stern i use it for other channels, sports and music . plus refreshing the 1000 plus songs on the micro sd is somethin i dig. love having new cool music with me wherever i go.

If there was only a way to easily convert recordings to MP3, I've give my buddies a few weeks of free samples and I know they would be hooked.

I've considered getting a powerful FM transmitter so people at work could listen, but I won't do that. As soon as someone has it too loud and some racist comment comment offends someone, I'd probably get fired.

I keep my office door closed. One second they could be talking about bull dogs, and then Hate Man is all of a sudden yelling, or a porno sound clip... Gotta be careful ;)

I used my old S50 for that back in my previous lab. That FM transmitter went EVERYWHERE so I would set it up and let everyone tune their walkmans in to listen.

Canada Eh!
I just have headphones on. The only problem is when I start laughing out loud at something I get stares from my coworkers.

I get those looks all the time. I was on a treadmill once catching up to Bubba and it was the first time I thoroughly heard the Bubba/Lasker Brokeback Mountain song and I was laughing hysterically at the gym.
