Is there an ID # on the packaging?

I want to activate a new radio before the price increase, but I will be out of town until after the 10th. I was wondering if the ID # is anywhere on the radio itself, or do I have to physically put the radio in the cradle and power it on?

The ESN should be on the outside of the box...:)

You should have the radio on when you activate it so it get's the activation signal. Sirius has a feature that allows you to set the date and time that you want to radio activated. At least they used to...

Good Luck!...:D

the sid/esn also should be on the back of the receiver. at least it is on my 2 starmate replays or you could just plug it in long enough to tune into channel 0 and the sid/esn will be displayed on your display screen.
