iOS 14 announcement was this week. A few new cool features, so I went for it and got the early beta version. Pretty stable for a beta. Still exploring the new stuff.

Favorite thing so far is being able to watch something like Netflix and do other stuff like post on DRC at the same time!
(Probably something Android has been allowing for years?)

So aside from making my phone slower and more buggy, what features of iOS14 would make it worth downloading? Have any of you downloaded it?

I have it, it's stable and the battery life is improved. I can go 4 days without charging.
How different is the home screen? I have my apps organized how I want them. Not looking forward to them being changed or moved.

I actually like it better. You can still have it the way it is now, but it has the app library as where everything is. And it's already organized, just have to swipe right from the home screen and it's there. Personally I put all the default apps on the home screen, and keep everything else in the App Library where it's already put into groups.

FINALLY. iOS14.5 offers an option to unlock your phone while wearing a mask (if you have an Apple Watch).

Downloading now.
