Installing a Hardwired Power Adapter

I have purchased a Sirus XM hardwired power adapter. Any recommendations on the best place to connect the adapter to the vehicles power system on a 2002 Ford Explorer. Should I attempt to piggy back into the factory radios power plug or would I be better served connecting the the fuse box. Thanks

On my (now totaled ) 98 zx2 I got an extra cigarette adapter from the shack and just tapped into a red and a black wire in one of the harnesses going to the stereo. I was a little nervous but it worked out well. I'm looking at getting a new Focus, and I think it only has one outlet, so I think I'll need to add another.

Let me know what you do.
