When and Where would you go?

(assume you travel in your present physical condition, your safety is assured, and your stay is only for a few days)

Befitting my avatar, I could see myself going to San Francisco in the late 1960's to check out the music scene, along with all the hippies. Or Swinging London of the mid 1960's.

Going further back, I've always found Ben Franklin era Philadelphia an interesting time.

The future... too scary. :icon_eek:

I'm thinking:
Katie - December 1998
Lori - anytime between 1988 and 1997
Jen - September 1995
Janet - Summer 1992
Lynne - Summer 1986
Michelle - June 1984

Not quite the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, but some things are worth disrupting the time space continuum over. . . .

30 AD, modern-day Israel. I'm getting the truth on this Jesus guy once and for all.

Runner up: Sometime during the Cretaceous Period in the present-day American west. I want to see what a Tyranosaurus Rex looked like.

Third place: Jen, September 1995, so I can steal HecticArt's piece of tail. :p

Sure id travel a few years in the past. But what I would really do is travel into the FUTURE! Anywhere from 1 to 1000+ years to see the progress of man kind.

I would go back to when I was a senior in high school and tell myself not to take that girl I met over the phone to the prom. Sadly, I'm still paying the price mentally because of it.
