I thought it was a very good interview. First off, Hugh Jackman is a pretty big name, like A-list. I almost didn't believe the PAD when I turned my radio on. Artie wasn't there, which in this case helped in my opinion. Artie is better for interviews with wack packers and porn chicks where he can make fun of the guest. He doesn't really add much to these sort of interviews. I think Howard actually put some effort into this one because it's a big name star and he's into comic books. And Jackman took the questions in stride and seemed to enjoy himself. All in all, I liked the interview.

I defainately like the interview, I wonder if it had anything to do with Howard talking about possibily watching the leaked movie.... Irregardless if it did or not, he was still on the show, and definately Jackman took the entire interview in stride and it was definately awesome.

He's not, "like A-list." He is A-List! Great interview. He was a good sport and pretty open.

I love when stars like him come in and roll with it. Cuba Gooding was also one of those guys that came in and opened up. I wish more people would do that.

I thought this was a perfect interview and it made me like Hugh Jackman a lot. I've always loved Wolverine but I never got the whole song and dance thing.

Anyway, I think this was a PERFECT example of how to conduct an interview with an A LIST star like Hugh Jackman. Howard kept it moving, covered a lot of interesting ground with Hugh's growing up, movie roles, hot actresses, etc. Howard pushed him a little bit on workign with hot actresses, Halle Berry naked and kept it fun for all of us listeners. Seriously, I highly doubt in any other interview has Hugh ever been asked how bid his c*ck is? Also, I think this should be a lesson to other A listers that avoid the show. Hugh Jackman was a great guest, came off as a normal guy and was insanely likable. Also, he did his job and got me even more excited to see this movie.

Congrats to Howard for a great interview and congrats to Jackman for being a great guest.

Weird but the way it works in my head is that I will tend to like people more that do the Stern Show. If somebody famous won't do the show, I think they're pussies. But when 30 year Senator Arlen Specter comes in TWICE in a one year period, I tend to just want to vote for him because he did the show. Anybody else feel the same way? You tend to favor a "friend of the show?" (no political comments please as that wasn't my intention)

The movie isn't getting good reviews, the powers that be, the ones that usually nix any visit to the Stern show by their money-makers are pulling out all of the stops. Expect to see Hugh Jackman available for babysitting or dogwalking.

It's always cool when a celebrity is comfortable answering Howard Stern type questions, but let's face it, the dude has to do these promotional sit downs. This is the same guy that gave Barbara Walters a lap dance, he doesn't appear to be uptight...his handlers, his assistants?....they're being told what to do by the movie studio...count on it.

If this movie was getting a larger buzz I doubt seriously that he would be doing the Stern Show. I guess it would be cool if Hugh enjoyed himself so much so that he would make the Stern Show a regular stopping point for his upcoming projects.

Reviews on a movie this big doesn't mean anything. This movie will make well over 70 million this weekend. This movie will also make well over 250 million total, probably closer to 350 million.

It was a great interview and perhaps helped by Artie not being there. I don't think he would add much other than falling asleep and being a distraction. Jackman got the show to some degree. He thankfully didn't do the thing like "So where are the hookers" but I found it funny that he not jokingly thought Halle Berry and Oprah might have been guests...Maybe somebody lied to him about the quality of guests Howard has in on a regular basis. It would be nice if we could get more A-Listers but than again, I doubt they would all be as comfortable as Hugh was.

As for Artie during interviews, he is great when Wack packers and internet hookers are in but is best when a comic, especially one that he knows, is in. He was great yesterday with Colin and telling his story of pitching a show.

Reviews might hurt a movie like this. I don't know the reception by fans on "X-Men 3" but I thought it was easily the worst of the bunch and the biggest disappointment of a comic book movie I've seen since "Batman And Robin" (the gay one...sorry...the REALLY gay one). Something tells me though, they might have gotten it right this time.

I totally agree about being a friend of the show. I go out of my way to support the people whos had good interviews. I was just at Target last night and bought the "Big Stan" DVD with Rob Schneider on this principle.
