I thought this was a perfect interview and it made me like Hugh Jackman a lot. I've always loved Wolverine but I never got the whole song and dance thing.
Anyway, I think this was a PERFECT example of how to conduct an interview with an A LIST star like Hugh Jackman. Howard kept it moving, covered a lot of interesting ground with Hugh's growing up, movie roles, hot actresses, etc. Howard pushed him a little bit on workign with hot actresses, Halle Berry naked and kept it fun for all of us listeners. Seriously, I highly doubt in any other interview has Hugh ever been asked how bid his c*ck is? Also, I think this should be a lesson to other A listers that avoid the show. Hugh Jackman was a great guest, came off as a normal guy and was insanely likable. Also, he did his job and got me even more excited to see this movie.
Congrats to Howard for a great interview and congrats to Jackman for being a great guest.
Weird but the way it works in my head is that I will tend to like people more that do the Stern Show. If somebody famous won't do the show, I think they're pussies. But when 30 year Senator Arlen Specter comes in TWICE in a one year period, I tend to just want to vote for him because he did the show. Anybody else feel the same way? You tend to favor a "friend of the show?" (no political comments please as that wasn't my intention)
