Listening to the History of Stern, I've noticed that Howard's voice has dropped a good half-octave over the years. Men's voices don't normally get that much deeper past the age of 22 or so (for example, Gary's voice hasn't changed much, nor Fred's), so what's going on? Does he make an effort to sound deeper, or is it some sort of electronic effect? Or could his nose job have done it? Listening to clips from 1984, his voice is almost unrecognizable.
