I guess Talkers agrees with Leno. Howard was number 1 in 2006, 12 in 2007, and 13 in 2008, but dropped all the way down to 32 this year. I think part of the reason this happened is because we just came out of a huge political season, so non-political talkers dropped down to make room for Limbaugh, Hannity, etc. Still, it's a pretty big drop.

And just so nobody takes this the wrong way, I love the show as much as most people on here, so me posting this is not a shot at Howard, but I thought people on here might find this interesting.

How did so many Air America people get on there?

And how in the hell is Scott Ferrell or Jason Ellis not mentioned anywhere on there?

51 and 52 :nana:

25-24 = 1 (as in affiliates lost) are the only numbers you need to know about O&A, so don't get your Underoos in a bunch there Goreds. Never in the history of radio have anyone been given so much, so easily, and then lost it so fast, so spectacularly. Truly the top of the heap in failure.

By the way, O&A's entry says "Syndicated", which begs to ask . . . can you really claim to be syndicated when you are only heard on one station? :pointlaugh:

Being one step above Bubba on a pointless list is considered tounge-waving material?

Maybe someday, O&A will break into the 30's.

"51 and 52" or whatever those numbers are is like Michigan football saying "At least we won three games! It's better than winning zero games!"

Any mention of O&A that doesn't include the words "dropped from the morning drive slot" is tongue-waving material to the pppests. When you are drowning in failure, you'll grab hold of anything.

"Waddle doodle! We got a press mention that didn't announce us being fired!! We win in the end!!"

How in the hell is MANCO even on this list? He couldn't even find a station a fwe years ago and is now working for that little station outside of Chicago? Plus, he sucks. he used to be a Howard rip off and when that didn't work, he went to conservative talk?

Plus, the number 3 guy on the list only have 8 million listeners. Howard has more than that NOW even on SiriusXM.

Imus at 20? He STILL HAS ZERO LISTENERS!!!

BOB AND TOM? They haven't been funny in 10 years.

Bubba is on at 51. He probably has more listeners in Florida than half of these yahoo's do in the whole country.

Quinn and Rose? They are as bad as it gets for a "local" based show. If you do a shot of liquor everytime that Quinn says that word "LIBERAL" you'll be drunk by 6.05am. And the show starts at 6.

If you look at the criteria used to evaluate these Talkers, then HOWARD would be Number 1 everytime.

"courage, effort, impact, longevity, potential, ratings, recognition, revenue, service, talent, uniquness."

It's been a bad year for Sirius XM, and thus for Howard. The show has been going through the motions and so has Howard....for God sakes, he even refused to do his Letterman appearance this year for whatever reason. 32 makes sense.
