    FM Direct Connect stopped working...

Everything was working fine on Friday morning. On Friday afternoon, I plugged everything in and it lit up...but no sound. :(

I get the 3 bars of service in the car. The radio works in the SUBX1 box.

The guy from TSS Radio suggested that I should hear a faint click when the FM-MOD is activated by the radio. I didn't hear the click, but then again, I don't know what the click sounds like.

    Any ideas here?

Try plugging an ipod or a phone or other device into it and see what happens.

If you have the FM Direct Adapter it's very unlikely it just went bad. So just get back to where it's connected in the back and re-plug everything in to make sure it's all connecting.

Some guy on YouTube had a tool of some sort... :(

I don't want to have to take it some place, but I don't think I have any other option...

...painful memories... Now, I just connect my phone via Bluetooth.

Even though I have two power adapters in the car, I'm still wondering what the USB port is for...plug in a thumb drive full of music? Power to a device?

Our car allows you to update the startup picture. Update is loaded from the usb port. You can usually also listen to music through usb rather than bluetooth if you choose. Or just charge your phone.
