I just got a notice that Firefox 3.5 was available for download. It seems that some of my plug-ins were also updated.

Anyone else download it or already been running the beta?

I had tried it a couple of months back and deleted it because it would crash a lot. Thus far it seems they got the bugs ironed out. Now that more folks will be using it they will fix any remaining issues pretty quickly.

I thought it was only me experiencing the crashes. I haven't had one since they released the official version though.

Haven't had an issue since the new version. Very nice, and snappier than ever.

Mozilla warns of critical Firefox vulnerability - V3.co.uk - formerly vnunet.com

Mozilla is warning users and administrators of a critical JavaScript flaw in its Firefox 3.5 browser.
The company said that the problem exists in the browser's JavaScript tool within a component called 'just in time' (JIT). If exploited, the vulnerability could allow an attacker to remotely execute code on a targeted system.

Mozilla further warned that a working exploit has been publically released, increasing the risk of attacks occurring in the wild.

There is already a patch for that. 3.5.1 was released Friday and I downloaded it.

I'm running 3.5.1 and it's not saving my passwords. Every time I come here or any other forums I have to re-enter my username and passwords.

That's odd. I haven't had any issues with it saving passwords on XP, Vista, or Windows 7.

I updated to 3.5 a week ago. I use it constantly and it's been perfect. Some cool new features, too!
