Borrowing from the Joe Buck thread, Who are your favorite and least favorite sportscasters?

You can interpret "sportscasters" any way you want to... analysts, play-by-play, insiders, talk show hosts, etc...

My favorites:
Hubie Brown (NBA) -- Beginning twenty-something years ago, I learned more basketball from that guy than anyone else!
Vern Lundquist (college football)
Ron Jaworski (NFL)
Chris Fowler (college football)
Ron Franklin (college football)
Lee Corso (college football) -- I don't always agree with him, but he's funny.
John Clayton (NFL) -- The Professor
Al Michaels
Jim Henderson & Archie Manning (local) - for many years they did a great job calling the Saints games on WWL New Orleans.

Least favorites:
Skip Bayless (ESPN) -- just gets on my nerves!
Stephen A. Smith
Dan Dierdorf
Joe Buck
Lou Holtz

There's one guy that I liked that I'm sure everyone else has on their hate list, and that's Stephen A Smith. I liked his show on ESPN Radio. He could be loud on a few ocassions, but I agreed with 90 percent of the stuff he had to say. He's now podcasting and appearing on various TV outlets as a guest.

I loved Howard Cosell.

And the Pat Summerall/ John Madden team will probably be my all-time favorite. Especially when Madden was a little younger and had more spunk.

Al Michaels is very good.

Chris Berman...can't believe he still has a job.

I've like Jon Gruden so far....but can't stand that other guy....the white guy (can't think of his name).

Bryant Gumbel? That racist can go pound sand.

I loved Buddy Baker and Ned Jarrett.

I hate Troy Aikman. Not only is he a bad commentator, he's biased toward the Cowgirls. Constantly makes excuses for them, and crawling up Romo's butt.
