Wow, those are some tough choices! But at least they shouldn't be as controversial as the "Is sherbet ice cream?" debate. (Spoiler alert: Sherbet is not ice cream.) My choices are in yellow.

Gary Owens, the longtime disc jockey and Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In announcer who died in 2015, said one time, "I'm disillusioned. I just found out the Eiffel Tower is not really made of eiffel." :D

This was a little trickier than I expected.
I based my picks on if I wanted to go someplace, would go out of my way to see something, or would want to go back more than once. Dubai, for instance is an amazing looking place with incredible architecture and a lot to see, but I don't see myself going out of my way to visit.

Spoiler alert sherbet is ice cream.

It looks like ice cream, taste like ice cream and sold in the ice cream aisle. Which we all know sherbet got robbed in the Ice Cream Madness. So debate over and now back to the tourist destinations tournament.

I'll post the 1st round results shortly.

Nobody wanted to visit Alcatraz?
I went once.
Glad I did.
The restaurants were just much better in New Orleans.

I will visit Alcatraz one day, just New Orleans have more to offer.

I rather avoid visiting a stinky fish market in San Fran. Speaking of San Fran, I should have nominated The Castro District. It would simply be fabulous to visit.

Mrs Scotch and I went bar-hopping -at night- through the Castro district with friends of ours (a gay couple) who were giving us a tour of the city. It was possibly the most dangerous thing I've ever done. For a couple of years we were having coffee shipped to us from a shop there.
