Did Howard ever officially pray that he got cancer way back when? If so, everyone else he prayed got cancer should take notice. There might be something to his power after all.

Dom Imus is currently #1 on today's Google trends, with prostate cancer coming in at #3. That means either Imus is still relevant after all, or all that Google trends doesn't really mean much.

Either way, I wish the best for the guy.

Agreed...on both counts.

The fact that Imus shows up on the Trends means he wasn't getting any searches prior to his medical ailment. Unless his tumor will co-host, it doesn't say much for his relevance to today's culture. Howard's name doesn't show up, just elements of his show...

Cancer sucks. I've lost many family members to this disease. My heart goes out to Imus.

Today's Imus Google reference has nothing to do with what was on there yesterday, let alone at any time in the past. Today, the story broke, and today he was #1.

Not that it's a big deal, as the "parts of Howard's show" that end up on Google trends are usually Sybian riding, diseased, middle school dropouts, or in other words, Howard TV stars. LOL.

Which means nobody gave a shit about him except to say the "Nappy Headed Ho" guy has cancer. If that's relevance, then Ed McMahon and Paul Harvey are regular trendsetters...

He didn't say or do anything intriguing or influential, some of his cells turned malignant...

Nobody exept the massive amount of people who made him the #1 search, perhaps.

Dierdre cares. The sick childrens' families must care. He'll most likely get a huge number of people who will support him, both publicly and privately.

In related news, upon hearing the news that Howard's chess game is declining, a three-legged Long Island poodle sent him a sympathy card.

Wrong. It means Howard mentioned it, which he did. :smug:

So now Imus getting on Google Trends is an undertaking requiring massive amounts of people, but the fact that things from Howard's show are on there EVERYDAY mean he's not relevant?

:blah: :2funny:
