I've often wondered this and couldn't find any threads with this discussion.
So I am at Best Buy today looking at all the Sirius Units comparing them with the XM units. Why do the Sirius units only feature blue backgrounds (minus the Sportster, which has a poor excuse for a color screen).
The XM units are much more vibrant and colorful. You would think since the merger they would incorporate the screen technology used in the XM units over to the Sirius ones.
Also why don't they all just use the same type of screen resolutions GPS units use ?
