I had a huge issue with squirrels hanging out in my barn in the winter, but I fixed that problem by closing up some holes.

I went into my barn last week and I noticed a squirrel had gotten in, again. It scared me and I scared him. He was in the corner and ran across a beam and somehow got out.

So two days ago, I went in the barn to do some work. I plug in my Stiletto 2 to the boombox. I wait, and no signal. I then realized that I unplug the Echo when I am not using it. I go to the Echo to plug it in and it is. No green lights. I unplug from the wall and plug it back in. Nothing. I trip the plug. Nothing.

Then I look at the Echo. I see the power plugged in with no cord! Then I see the antenna plugged in with no cord!

I said WTF aloud. I thought, did I really cut these? Then I remember the squirrel who was on the shelf 3 inches from the Echo. That squirrel killed my Sirius.

It was 10am my time and I was about to call TSS and order a new power adapter and antenna adapter. First, I went into my Sirius box of goodies and I had a 5v power adapter from an s50. I also had a backup of the antenna adapter.

I was now back in business.

Just remember, squirrels do not like Sirius. :)
