Someone called in this week and made the point that competition cautions should be where drivers come in the pits and go back out as there were...lined up with no need to hurry off pit road because you get your spot back.
I don't agree with that, but, I do think competition cautions should require a 4 tire change that's mandatory. After all, it's done for safety reasons and to gather data and tire wear information, not for making a risky call to gain a few dozen spots. Take gas if you want to, but change those Eagles so the folks can make them better and so the racing is better.
