Peggy-Jean Montgomery, billed as Baby Peggy, was only 19 months old when she appeared in the silent comedy short Her Circus Man. After being signed to a contract by Century Film Corporation, she made more than 100 shorts, 1921-24. In August 1923, a new contract guaranteed her an annual salary of $1,500,000! Montgomery also appeared in 22 feature films for Universal, 1921-38. Jack Montgomery, her father, was a stuntman and a double for Tom Mix. And before anyone asks, no, I didn't see any of her silent movies in the theater. I'm not that old!

Here is Baby Peggy's fourth film, Playmates, released May 18, 1921. Brownie the Wonder Dog gives her a bath. The title cards are in Spanish.

Cooper appeared in 31 movies including Red Tomahawk, Arizona Raiders, Gunfight At Comanche Creek and Support Your Local Gunfighter. He also appeared in 53 television series including several episodes of Mannix, Laramie, Gunsmoke, Combat, Perry Mason and The Misadventures Of Sheriff Lobo. This headline is misleading, though. Cooper was not a "star" of Bonanza. He was in only two episodes. Dadburnit!

I will third that one. The first Trader Joe's opened in 1967 in Pasadena, just a few miles east of where I live. Trader Joe's used to have its own brand of soda, which I liked (and which was cheaper than the major brands). Dr Joe's was the equivalent of Dr Pepper and Mountain Joe's was the equivalent of Mountain Dew.
