Hi -

I am new to the site.

I have an old Sportster P2 and just bought a refurb. P2 unit from eBay. I am guessing that the FM Transmitter is going to be weak.

Can I remove the FM Tranmitter from old one and place in the new one?

Also, what does the FM Transmitter look like (like I said, I'm new)????

Thanks

There really isn't going to be a way to put your old FM transmitter into your new receiver unfortunately. The old FM transmitters are pretty much gone for good.
There are ways around it though and most of them involve directly connecting your Sirius radio to speakers or a stereo (in your car or house).
The closest thing to the old FM transmitters is this product, the Whole House FM Transmitter. It sends any audio signal over FM about 150'. It's a great part and works exactly as advertised. Let us know if you have any other questions.
