I read a thread today(thank you robhurlburt) that reminded me to extend my sub for a year before the next increase. I got on line and saw that Best of XM was reduced to $1.99 a month/50% off, I pay $3.99 for Best of XM now so I wanted the lower price. Could not get it done on line so I called, After an exhausting 45 min with the Indian service rep named Joy that did not even know of the 50% off deal and then told me I was not allowed the deal after 3 different times on hold and walking her to the exact page on the Sirius web site I blew up and asked to be transferred. I know that its not P.C. but when The 2nd service rep picked up the phone and I heard a good old American voice I felt like going cartwheels. I unloaded my frustrations on her and was treated wonderfully. The long and short of it I was given Sirius everything with best of XM for $101! I carried over a $85 credit so I ended up owing $16. I guess the frist 45min payed off in the end but I was bowling mad for a while.

How long is that BOXM for $101 good for? 1 year? 2 years?
Thats was the year price for Sirius everything with Best of XM, I was given a deal over what I called for because of the trouble I had with first rep, I was only calling to get $1.99 Best of XM instead of 3.99. Should have been 12.95+1.99x11 months=164.34 - $85 credit = $79.34, I paid 16 and change. Not sure where $101 comes from, will try some math. Wife tried to cancel XM in her car due to non use and was given $77 deal right away.

I actually figured that with the yearly price of my primary radio now being so high (Everything + BOXM), adding another $24 a year made the Lifetime plan pay off in only about 2.6 years now.

So I did that, instead.

I think I was given the $77 deal on Sirius and 1.99 deal on XM

$1.99x12=23.88+$77=100.88

That life of the radio catch has always held me back from the lifetime plan. Im on my 3rd radio, and I think you get charged something like $79 to switch
