What a trainwreck that was today. You can tell Howard is really phoning it in as he had no clue what to ask him today.

I don't think this interview was so much Howard's fault as it was McNamee's. Howard was asking him questions, but all he really got was yes or no answers. Not a good radio guest. It was like pulling teeth trying to get information out of him.

Ya I'd hardly call it Howard's fault. it was like pulling teeth getting anything interesting from him or something longer than a one sentence answer.
Also, Norm was great right after. I've been a huge fan of his since SNL.
Or so the Germans would have us believe.

I'm guessing in the end it'll be Gary's fault.

If Howard's not that into a sports guest, shouldn't Artie sort of take over? Or is that asking too much from him?

You wanted it to be good but that guy SUCKS as an interview. I think everyone kinda "hated" the guy too.

    Just all around skeevy

Good re-cap of the interview on espn.com.

The guy was out of Howard's comfort zone in terms of a guest, but I liked it.
