what is the best rock channel on sirius xm and why?
If you like classic rock: Classic Vinyl, Classic Rewind, and Deep Tracks.
Why? Just listen and it will all make sense.
Also, a poll in this case doesn't make much sense because it all depends on the type of "Rock" that you enjoy. Classic Rock and Heavy Metal are not the same.
But if I had to vote (and I did), I would say my favorite channel is "Classic Vinyl".
P.S. Where is "The Bridge" in the poll?
ah, the bridge isn't active right now so i decided to leave it out, my bad
Underground Garage gets no love?
Ahh, good point. I just added that channel to my presets yesterday after Week 1 of WTD.
If the new XMU is like the old XMU, I will hear tunes I hear no place else.
I voted Classic Rewind. Its the one I like the most and listen to the most.
The Bridge is now classified as pop.
I voted for Classic Rewind. Big Tracks was one of my top rock channels on XM and Classic Rewind is its replacement so it gets my vote.
Octane. It's the only channel on the list that wasn't raped by Sirius.
write-in vote for Deep Tracks
Octane here. Since the merge, things have been sounding real good.
Classic Vinyl - The legends of rock and roll!
...and what about Underground Garage? Cool station also!
ya i shoulda put deep tracks instead of hair nation. i was gonna put both but it only lets you put 10 choices, sorry
Ah 10 max. That 'splains it. Then of the 10, my vote goes to Classic Vinyl
To me in my best rock order:
#2 Liquid Metal
#4 Hair Nation
#6 Classic Rewind
The rest I don't listen too.
Another write-in for Deep Tracks.
Left of Center 4 Life!
You left off Spectrum too!
I saw Classic Vinyl getting a fair amount of votes. How much do they play Beatles, Rolling Stone, and 60's music on that channel. I don't mind classic rock but having the Beatles on that station turns me off. I don't like 50's or 60's music and I don't care much for the rolling stones either. I would rather be listening to Classic Rewind.
