I have always been partial to Dodge and Ford has always made a good truck.

The new 09 Ram with rear coils must be driven if you are looking for a great handling, and great ride. It has MDS, storage options, coolers built into the floor, My Gig Entertainment and Sirius Back Seat TV.

Click through these pic's and tell me this isn't one hell of a truck

I love the Hemi and Cummins in the Dodge.

Ford packages a nice truck.

There is nothing I like about the Giant Monkey.

The Toyota looks great, but the interior is wierd to me.

The Nissan is going away, next Gen Titan will be a Ram.

I take a lot of crap for it... but have always loved my F150. Roomy interior... Never had much trouble with it. Now if I would get better gas mileage out of it.

The dodges I've drove for work are also pretty decent also.

As far as total cost of ownership for 36 months and per Kelly Blue Book, the Toyota is the best truck. Ford is the best selling half ton truck and Chevy is dressed out just a little nicer than the Ford. Dodge has a great drive train, but the Toyota has the most torque and HP with the better fuel ratings.

I suppose it will boil down to the interest rate offered by the various manufacturers. In my area Ford is offering up to $15M of sticker, bring your own financing or 0% and make your best deal with the dealer. Toyota is offering $5M off MSRP or 0% for 36 months and make your best deal. I have not checked out Dodge or Chevy yet. I have another week or so to make up my mind.

Did I mention buying a truck is hard work?

Yes it is, but if you drive them all then you will be able to narrow it down.

I would drive 08 Toyota, 08 Chevy, 08 Nissan, and 08 & 09 Dodge and Fords. I know that they won't have incentives, but don't you want to be sure that it isn't exactly what you want?

Dodge Ram IMO, Not only are they the best looking truck on the road, I drive one. I got a 2003 Ram 1500 and it's been treating me good.

Man, Ford dealers are getting close to make me purchase a diesel F250 King Ranch, :heat:. I don't need that big of truck, but its resale value holds up a heck of a lot better than the F150 KR. They are now talking $16M off MSRP. I am still thinking Toyota though, but have not driven a Dodge yet either.

My old boss in Houston has a King Ranch Crew 4X4 Dually, it replaced his Lairit that he had before that. Nice BIG truck. I love the King Ranch Package.

Do you want a Diesel?

Doesn't diesel work better than Viagra?;)

The Toyota dude just emailed me the best deal yet on a Tundra SR5 with TRD package ~ $6741 of MSRP with only $349 worth of Gulf States BS added. Offer good until Friday. I think I will wait until Monday.
