My point is that the 3 members of Rush have a decade on U2. And U2's members were pulled together from other bands, they weren't born playing together, so I feel that some of the qualifiers are bullshit.

Agreed. The qualifier is bullshit, but the RS fanboy BS category is what it is. Rush recorded their first album as Rush with John at the drums, so they are DQ'd on a technicality. Rush isn't the original lineup and are better for it. Who needs RS anyway? They ruined the RRHOF, and are struggling to stay relevant these days. They have to resort to Tiger Beat fanzine journalism tactics to survive. Screw em.
