I'll go with my favorite image from my (world-class hiker) daughter's hike of the John Muir Trail in the Sierra Nevada. The JMT goes from Yosemite to Mt. Whitney, the highest peak in continental U.S. at 14,500 ft. The hike is 220 miles of mountains, with an average elevation over 10,000 ft., which she did in 14 days. I got tired just monitoring her GPS signal.

She's become quite the hiker, she did the Presidential Traverse in NH (7 peaks including Mt. Washington) in a single 24 hour period. Doing a hike every week or two keeps her in shape.

I did some F1 avatars a few times, thought I'd go a different way.

Good for her. That looks like fun

I loved hiking when I was a younger. I doubt I could do as much anymore.

Sleeping at elevation is hard for me, too. My mom lives north of Colorado Springs, & I have a hard time sleeping there. The elevation is beat 7000ft there
