2009 Season Predictions thread

OK everybody, here's your chance to either look like a genius or not...this thread is for posting your 2009 NFL predictions for posterity's sake, whether it's just for one team or all 32, division standings, Super Bowl, etc. Good luck!

As much as I like the Steelers ... they will not repeat. I also predict AZ will miss the playoffs.

AFC East: I hate to say it but New England will probably win it by default:
AFC North: Baltimore Ravens
AFC South: Indy
AFC West: By process of elimination San Diego

Wildcards: Pittsburgh, Tennessee

I will also predict one of the teams I have sleected will finish below .500 and some other team who suck on paper will have a miracle season. Always happens.

NFC East: Philly
NFC North: Minnesota
NFC South: Atlanta
NFC West: Seattle

Wildcards: NY Giants, New Orleans Saints

Same prediction as the AFC regarding my predictions.

After coming off of a 16-0 season in '07, you could have said the same thing about the Patriots last year. But...for lack of a better phrase...shit happens. You never know in the NFL.

I think the whole NFC East is hard to predict on any given year. Probably 2 of those teams will make the playoffs and 2 will miss but not by much. The breaks in those divisional games will probably decide which 2 are which. Its almost a coin flip IMO.

The NFC in particular is hard to predict this year. I'd say there's 12 teams thinking they've got a good shot at the playoffs.

And as always, some team will rise out of nowhere and finish 11-5.

You guys might have two of the best receivers in the league pound-for-pound. Jeremy Maclin at 6-foot, 195 and Desean Jackson at 5-10, 175.

And I'm hoping former Red Raider Danny Amendola (5-11, 180) manages to make the team...then you'd really have a small receiving group.

I just think the Giants and Cowboys are stronger teams than the Eagles. And there won't be three teams coming out of the east in the playoffs.
