Well, I finally got to the 200K mile mark! Below is the work that has been done to it in the eight years of ownership.

Bought the car in 2005 with just under 84K miles.
Headliner was sagging
Apperently the a/c sucksion hose had been replaced
The intake manifold had been replaced with the updated one
The plug wires had also been replaced

2006:
100K miles - all four shocks needed replacing

2007
109K miles - New brakes & rotors, upper ball joints, alignment
111K miles - Cruise control recall done

2008
123K miles - All four cat converters replaced

2009
131K miles - One of the lug nuts was stripped and had to be broken off in order to be replaced.
132K miles - O2 sensor replaced
133K miles - Blend door actuator failed, a/c liquid line sprung a leak. (replaced)
134K miles - Rear shocks failed and needed replacement (done)
135K miles - Left outer tierod end needed replacement (done)
136K miles - A/C compressor sprung a leak (replaced)
137K miles - Idler arm and front stab links needed replacement (done)

2010
140K miles - Air springs replaced (pre-emptive)
142K miles - A/C sucksion hose & high side pressure switch sprung a leak (replaced)
148K miles - Coil packs replaced (misfire)
149K miles - Finally replaced the headliner
151K miles - Bank 2 cats replaced again (remember previous misfire)

2011
152K miles - Drivers rear shock failed and needed replacement again, plus the exhaust hangers needed replacement
158K miles - Plug wires replaced (maintance)
160K miles - Fuel Pump replaced (pre-emptive)
161K miles - Rear stab links replaced (bushings worn)
168K miles - Driver door realigned
170K miles - Striker bushing replaced (I cheated and used tape)

2012
172K miles - Power steering pump started leaking (used leak seal)
173K miles - Replaced headlight switch
177K miles - Alignment
178K miles - Intermittent fault with blend door
183K miles - Replaced coolant hoses
184K miles - Replaced drivers side window regulator and motor
185K miles - Replaced IAC Valve
186K miles - I belive the door hinge in the plenum is broken

2013
191K miles - Replaced front passenger window regulator and motor
192K miles - Replaced exhaust hangers again

On top of that I am on my third set of tires, third battery, and if you go by an average of 3000 miles, I have changed the oil about 39 times.

Very good. My 2001 Nissan Frontier 4x4 SE just cranked over 287,000 miles last week. I change the oil around 4000-5000 miles.

Still has the original (Jinxing myself):
Muffler system
Starter
Alternator
AC compressor
Radiator
Transmission (people are more shocked at this than the miles on the engine)

This picture was taken at 285,000 miles.
Being garage kept is priceless and having no payment is better! :buttrock:

That's killer! You were that good about changing the oil every 3k?
What kind of mileage do you get out of it?

There were two times where I did go 5000k. But also a few times where I only went about 1500, because it had been three months since the last oil change. BTW, I have been changing the oil (as well as other fluids) myself since 2009.

When I go on my road trips I always end up averaging 28 MPG. During the trip the average will climb to 30 but drop back down to the high 20's. City driving however, is crap. I get between 17-21 MPG.

Y u drive so much?

Its something I like doing. No matter where I go, for any reason, I always look forward to the driving part.

Thats really good! I'm actually more shocked that the compressor lasted that many miles. I think in that case it may have to do more with age rather than miles, since those miles were accumulated rather quickly. The picture looks good, and I agree that having no payment rocks! I unfortunately do not have a garage. I'll post some pictures of the car later.

Well done my good man!

I quit doing my own oil changes when I couldn't find the oil filter any more because it was buried too deep inside the engine. I found that for every 4 quarts of oil, I'd also lose a quart of blood from all of the pointy things I'd scrape against. My new car says to change it every 5,000 miles. I've done much much better than with my old cars. Looking at your 200K will be a good reminder for me.

Gotta see that car. Bummer you don't have a garage. That is more impressive not having a garage. Concerning the AC compressor, I did have to have the lines replaced last year. As long as I do have the air conditioner and XM Radio, I will drive this as long as it wants to go. :buttrock:

Big pimpin!

You keep that bad boy spotless. If you spend that much time in there, I would guess you want it to be as enjoyable as possible.

Town Cars are damn near un-bustable. Wish I still had my old one.
