I think they're good in moderation. I said before somewhere in this thread that my local podunk bar has these in the cooler. I enjoy them with dinner, not straight.

Yeah, she has lately, now that you mention it. It's the time of the year for it, I suppose. I do enjoy having the bed all to myself, however.

Just got home from the local brewpub (The Portsmouth Brewing Company) and had a couple of their Vulcan Stouts. Wish I took a couple of growlers in to get filled up.

Portsmouth, I was there once. Wish I knew they had a brew pub. I would have stopped in.

Probably 10 or more years. It's down on 2nd street in the old 1800 brewery.

Just snagged the last six-pack of Sam Adams Octoberfest from the liquor store.

PowerPig, Hello, I'm Burnin'...

Does anyone here know what happened to Spaten's Club Weiß? It used to be all over the place down here, but now no one has it. Looking on the web, there's little evidence it ever existed. I see that Spaten and Franziskaner are the same company, and one web site sells Franziskaner Hefe=Weisse under the name Spaten Club Weiss. Is it the same stuff with a different name?
