Default Which Car Maker Has the Best SatRad System

I am in the market for a new truck and I want to have navigation/satellite radio. Who has been out looking at new trucks and what would you recommend?

I am leaning towards a Ford 150 or 250, but considering the Tundra, Chevy 1500 and a Suburban. I HAVE to pull the Sirius boat with this new vehicle.

I would suggest you buy the vehicle you want, and then get an aftermarket system. The factory systems are way over-priced.

I kinda disagree, I have been using a $2800 Kenwood head unit for the last three years that does less than the Ford factory unit that is a $2400 option. But having said that, I may pinch a few pennies and buy a cheapo factory installed unit and use the Kenwood.

By far and away a Ford Lincoln/Mercury with the Sync system with the SIRIUS Travel Link System. It's not only able to feed you the SIRIUS Audio, but also Construction Warnings, Traffic Info, Movie Listings, Gas Prices, Weather, Ski Resort Conditions, and Sports Scores.

In my most cases, not all you are correct. I know the Toyota OEM have a lot less features than most aftermarket systems.

I currently have a factory installed OEM in my Scion. I have kept it up till now, but it won't be long I'll be ditching it. The sad thing is I have the premium system, I'd hate to know I had the low end setup.

I had factory Sirius in my 2003 Ram and it was good.

I had Sirius installed in my 2009 Camry and while I love my car the Sirius setup sucks. For one there is a character limit, so song and artist titles are cut off. Next the antenna is mounted inside the windshield (by the rearview mirror) and it does not get the best signal.

If you are looking for a truck, you owe to to yourself to drive a 2009 Ram. It is the only pickup rear coil springs, really makes it ride and handle great. Plus you can get the my gig radio's which are awesome.

I remember the pictures of your setup in the Ram and it was GREAT. Seems these car companies have not made any progress in this area at all.

Hell, my Pacifica doesn't even have song or artist titles. The channel names don't even fit. I really miss the song/artists names.

You had one the only vehicle that the RB1 (previous Navigation Radio) would not work in.

The new Navi radio replaced my old RB1

The new radio is pretty awesome, has so many cool screens.

The issue with the Pacifica is that the nav system is in the cluster panel rather than the dash. The system is below the speedometer.
