It's fascinating that it's signed mostly by people who have made millions of dollars each on their copyrighted works.

People don't follow the speed limits. Why would they think it's not ok to steal music?

Odd, isn't it? The more money you have, the more you want.

Maybe they're just accustomed to thinking of music as a way to make millions of dollars. It isn't, and it never really was for most people, including the people who wrote the songs Robert Plant made millions off of by saying he wrote them himself.

There are a lot of old black men in heaven, who once had old beat-up guitars and sat on the front porch alongside a dusty Mississippi back road with an old dog at their feet and no money in their pockets, and created the blues, which was a reflection of their lot in life. And the blues begat rock and roll, and rock and roll begat the rock and roll star.

Sure, there were multiple artsts recording the same songs, but they credited the song writers. Zep said they wrong songs they didn't write. And now Robery Plant is complaining about copyright infringement? That takes some balls.

I can't argue with that. But the whole notion of credit back then was a little different. It's a more litigious era now.
