Last night I woke up to some intense sinus pain. It's extremely rare that I get sinus pain but had it last night. Finally fell asleep but felt like dogshit all day, sinus headache, sore throat, body aches and a slight fever. Started drinking about 8:30 and feel much better. Hopefully it's just from adjusting from the Phoenix climate to the spring climate in Cincinatti. These things dont usually sideline me for long so I hope I feel better tomorrow. Like I do now!

Alcohol is an immuno suppresant. You feel great because it stops your body's fight of the cold. Of course, the cold is now winning which probably means you will feel worse later ...

If I had a cold that lasted 10 or 12 days I'd be very worried. They usually last a day or two. A good case of the flu lasts 5 to 7 days, tops.

Perhaps my immune system is just fortified by all those hazelnuts.

A wise man once said when you get a cold and take all the modern medicines it'll be gone in just 10 days. If you don't do anything, it'll be gone in a week and a half.

I've had cold/flu symptoms in the past for up to 4 weeks, and yeah, I thought I was gonna DIE!!

Took that long for the aftereffects to go away completely.

I've had two week colds. I don't get sick often, however (knock on wood).

I'd say he's experiencing allergies if he just left Phoenix for Cincy. It's a bad year for pollen.
