anyone watching this on fx? the first season...not that good. too episodic. but i heard on a howie101 show that s2 rocked so i gave it a chance. im three episodes in and really liking it. cool to see a show based in ky and also cool to see a show with the star of deadwood. Timothy Olyphant

i really like how it has a down home feel to show. i know its crazy exaggerated...kinda like how rescue me was with ny firemen, but it does it well just the same. check it out.

Been a fan since Episode 1. They had an interview with the actress that plays Maggs Bennett on NPR yesterday.

You need to read the short story the show is based on, "Fire in the Hole" by Elmore Leonard.

And of course, if you're a Timothy Olyphant fan, you need to acquire (by legal means, of course), HBO's "Deadwood" series.

Olyphant is great. Deadwood was AWESOME corksocker. I thought he was pretty good in Hitman too.

I took your advice and I got season one via Netflix.. I loved the show so much that I couldn't wait for season two to come in the mail so I bought it.. watched the entire season this weekend.. I just finished downloading whats available for season three.. I can't wait to watch it tonight.

Thanks for the post.. I don't think I would of given the show a chance.
