The Soda Thread

I'm not much into Mountain Dew products, but I do like berry flavor drinks so I tried the new Volatge drink just now and damn it has an excellent flavor.


Has anyone else here tried it yet and what else are you favorite or least favorite soda drinks?

I prefer Pepsi over Coke, but some of my favs are:

Dr. Pepper
RC Cola
Sierra Mist

and least fav are:

Regular Mountain Dew

and I think some people here might agree, but not made anymore Crystal Clear Pepsi?

Rarely do I drink soda. And no, it isn't really a "hey, I'm awesome cuz I don't drink soda." It is more of a thing that we just rarely have it at the house.

However, when I do get a hankerin (yes, a hankerin) for a soda I roll DIET DR. PEPPER but only from a fountain.

My husband doesn't like Soda.... He won't drink it... I think I have seen him drink a ginger ale 3 or 4 times ever.... He is more Coffee or Water type of guy...... He doesn't even like Ketchup.... Which is crazy because he hates Ketchup and I am a Ketchup freak......

It's hard to find Diet Dr. Pepper in the fountain sometimes

I love DDP. I don't put ice in my sodas. I prefer it strait from the fountain

Pilot Truck Stops have Diet Mountain Dew. Some have flavor shots you can put in your sodas. I like adding cherry flavor to my DMD.

A man after my own heart. I grew up in Biloxi, used to go to the store at the plant and pull long necks out of tubs of ice there as a kid. That was back when they also made creme soda and ginger ale there. Good stuff.

Barq's Creme Soda, and the red creme soda, are great.
Nothing more 'New Orleans' than a good fried shrimp poboy and some Barq's...
