If the question is a Support or Billing issue, we take care of it. If it's a content problem with the music, then we will notify the proper dept. In this case, the proper dept was notified, and then they need to do some research. We have to determine if the song is indeed incorrect, or if there is a different copy floating around some place. If we need to get the proper audio from the Record Labels again, or what to fix the problem, etc. So, even after being reported, it can sometimes take several days/weeks for the problem to be identified and resolved and corrected in the systems.

I do apologize that you didn't feel that you weren't helped. In this situation though, there really wasn't much more we could do other than take the information and pass it along.

As an old Trooper fan, I can certainly tell you that that song is not Santa Maria. But I realize that Trooper fans are pretty much isolated to Canada.
According to a response by a Slacker staff on the Slacker board to my post, they have identified that the labelling of one album got messed up and have corrected it.

Now how long would it have taken Sirius to reach that solution? And would they even post something somewhere that they had made a mistake?

Thanx for the explaination. I can see how one can interpret the 'free' preview that way.
Our licenses require that we use the local currency for the user. If you are from Canada but used a US credit card, I'm not exactly sure how that works, because we have to charge all Canada users in Canadian Currency, and all US users in US Currency.

I will check the bill. I guess I have until the 15th to change credit cards.

Is the rate still $4.99/mo? Is it fixed? Or are you going to do some exchange rate magic and make it variable?

Do I still have the option for yearly billing?

The price is $4.99 / mo. It's fixed for you. If there is a conversion between CA and US dollars that's done by our payment gateway.

You still have the option for a yearly billing. Just set your monthly account to not auto-renew. At the end of the current paid period, you will be set back to Basic. At that point you can sign up again with the 12 month option.

Thanx. I will probably do this. Just have to verify that it did get billed in CAD and switch credit cards first.

When I first read this yesterday, I thought you had set it to not autorenew. Then I started thinking how you got the information about my account. I see the button and I played with it. I will see if I am ready to commit to a year. Must say its quite nice to have that level of control. Most places force you to call in to cancel.

I did change CC to a Canadian one as it was indeed booked in CAD and then converted back to USD by the credit card vendor. My bank will get a few extra pennies on that transaction.
