Go to Edit Station and then Click on Publish. Copy that Link here and that will give everyone access to your channel in terms of what you've done this far. However, this does not give them your add and edits later, you would have to share the station again to update it.

I've not heard that you must subscribe to load stations created by others on your G1/G2 device. But I just added one of those above and it went right on my device and I am a Premium Subscriber, so maybe you are on to something.

I called it Coalition. Trying to be a little bit more creative than just calling it the same as the satellite channel with a couple of words tacked on. Note that if you don't like the mix of music on faction, you will NOT like this channel. It's along the same lines, but with a bit more depth from the core artists. Rap, hard rock and newer punk are represented. Older punk is NOT because the Faction I fell in love with was before the removal of the Punk channel and before they threw that music into the blender. All the artists on this channel have been culled from Faction playlists.

I'm still not completely done with it, but I figured I'd throw it up to get some feedback. When I get it tweaked a bit more I'll post it into one of the shared threads. The main thing I'm not happy with is it goes a bit too deep, especially with some of the rap artists. But if I set slacker to Hits, it ignores some of the less popular bands that faction plays, requiring me to painstakingly BAN songs that go a little too deep.

The other problem is the older Guns n Roses, Metallica and Motorhead, but I've gotten that trimmed out a lot. Anyone who's ever listened to Faction, let me know what you think.
Yup it works, and I see you are aware of the "share your stations thread" for the future stations. I'll give it a listen.

Maybe I am a idiot, but....On the "popularity" fine tune tab. Anyone clear on what the difference is between "fringe" and "unfamiliar" ?

And on fine tune tab what would be the difference between "save", and "save as" ?

The impression I've gotten with playing around is that unfamiliar will let a few of the more popular songs into the list, while Fringe is basically going to play an entire playlist of songs you've never heard of.

Never played around with save as, but if it's anything like the way it is in windows, it'll let you make another copy of the station (for example, one set to hits and one set to fringe). Not 100% sure on this one though.

I think I will do the 7 day trial to find out if the premium service makes a difference.

I think the premium link is only in the slacker forum now. If you can do it with the Premium. I am sure you can do it with the plus subscription as well. Plus is cheaper. I have not confirmed this as I am not transferred onto the plus yet.

Lets make sure that we post created stations in the Share your Slacker Stations Thread. I was afraid when this thread was created it was going to have the affect of causing folks to post them here instead and it appears that is now the case. Please post your created stations here; http://www.digitalradiocentral.com/s...ns-thread.html

Please let us know how this works out for you. I'd be curious to know if this in fact some limitation in the basic service that we were not aware of.

Also let us know if you did the Premum or Plus service when you do it.

In the web player I can add them to my player no problem, but no matter how many times I refresh the portable, or change their placement in the stations order list, or delete other stations to make extra room, they just don't get added to my G1.

Does anyone have any idea why this might be? Could it be because you are required to have a premium subscription to use other people's stations? I just don't get it and it's so frustrating!

Thanks
Please see my response in new thread. I am going to start a new thread as I may have some ideas about this. As I think it maybe good to have it's own thread to document, and discuss. I will title the thread "stations not transferring to portable player ???"
