I was wondering what happened to this league? I remember they wanted to put football teams in cities where NFL is not located.

Las Vegas
Los Angeles
Orlando
New York
San Francisco
Salt Lake City
Monterrey

But San Francisco has a NFL team and New York has two teams outside of the city. This league could be interesting, but it could probably be another XFL?

True , but still the commissoner of the league said in a interview on CNBC.com he will have the league started this year.

Yet the NFL shut down NFL Europe, the AFL suspended it's season, the XFL failed, and another league failed before it even started. I don't see how this will be any different.

P.S. They are gonna play during the regular NFL season? WTF? That's just stupid.
