We posted the first one just now. So take a listen and let us know.
TSS Radio is now Podcasting | TSS-Radio Blog

I liked the Podcast Pilot a little bit more. Jimmy has some really good skills mixing the audio and the next one he will do with some screen to filter out those Popping "P"s.

The sound was good (except for the P's but a good windscreen will take care of that) I liked the music in the background as well. For the first podcast all the hosts sounded relaxed and comfortable which is a good thing.

But (and don't take this the wrong way) the entire thing sounded like an ad for TSS Radio, and that could be a turn off for some. You can tweek it a little and still get the plugs in there without making the entire show seem like an ad, it just takes some work.

Doing a weekly Podcast is hard work, trust me as I do one (plus I have to write 3 articles for a national magazine, run a few websites, host a national call in radio show once a month plus work my day job) so I know how tough doing a weekly show can be.

I would suggest going bi weekly or monthly so that you don't burn out with nothing to talk about as we have seen the Satellite Radio industry has a lot o f time where nothing is going on and people are just happy listening to their radios.

Best,

I would agree with this assesement. But over all it was good. I will listen again.

It sounds selfish to say this for sure, but the podcast wasn't made to be a SIRIUS XM news podcast, it's more developed to be based around TSS. But I'm not sure that came across when this thread was started.

That being said I will listen back and figure out if we need to tone down the mentions of the daily specials or something.

I understand that and I don't have an issue with that. But, personaly, nothing turns me off than a show that sounds like an advertizement or an infomercial. I don't think it was that bad but it was shading in that direction. I think you would want to make it subltler. Sublte salesman ship can be more effective.

Thats just my opinion. I didn't don't mean it as a slight. I think you guys do great work. But you asked ....

I think what everyone needs to understand is that TSS Radio was created to GIVE people that tech support and product resolution that they couldn't get from sirius themselves or other retailers. Half the reason this podcast is existing is because we want people to come to TSS-radio and get what they need when they can't find it anywhere else.

So it's a pod cast about the site not necessarly about SiriusXM.

Maybe discuss what happens to the the top threads of the week? Maybe this was mentioned 42times already?
